My love for horses with a back injury of a herniated disc has lead me to the gaited horses. I’ve owned both Missouri Fox Trotters and Tennessee Walkers. I met Jane Zubia at the Double B Farms in Enumclaw, WA. I witnessed her gentle but firm gift of communication between horse and rider. Jane gives the rider the cues to help your horse step out in the front end and get his back legs under him.

My horse “Domino” is a spotted TWH. At age 3 he was started by a Quarter Horse trainer. The discipline of Quarter Horse collection is so very different then collection of the gaited breeds. Taught to keep his head down, slack reins, soft mouth, legs under him and totally laid back, I could not get him to move out. Domino is a huge horse with a heart to match his size but he was so confused and frustrated. To say the least, so was I. Great trail horse with no drive. In a matter of two days with Jane, Domino got the message "I'm a Walking horse!" The contentment and peace fell on both of us.

In the months that have followed after Jane opening are harmony in "Unified Communication" his energy level and excitement for arena work is so much fun he is doing what he was bred to do. Gait!! I've been a witness to Jane Zubia's "Unified Communication" with several other horses of different ages, experience, and gaited breeds. Within 1 to 2 hours the outcome in always the same. Peace, harmony and contentment. What a Blessing. My horse and I will never be the same.

Thank you Jane, for sharing your gift.

Love,
Domino and Karen Jacobs
